Where It All Began
"If you are grateful, I will surely increase you in favour."
— Qur'an 14:7

The 2024 Borno Floods

In 2024, catastrophic floods tore through communities in Maiduguri, Borno State, displacing families and leaving thousands without shelter, food, or hope. Al Amaanah Aid mobilised swiftly, because mercy cannot wait. Through the generosity of donors who believed in the mission from its very first days, resources reached vulnerable families at their most desperate hour.

That intervention was more than a relief effort. It was a declaration of who we are, and it laid the foundation for every project below.

Words From Beneficiaries

"

When the floods took our home, we had nothing. Al-Amaanah Aid didn't just bring food, they helped us rebuild. My children are back in school.

I never imagined a stranger would care about our masjid the way they did. It's more than a building now, it's proof that people still show up for each other.

During Ramadan, I didn't know how I would feed my family. The food package arrived the same week. That kind of mercy stays with you.
